We did it on our last night in Nice, and it turned out to be the most memorable way to close out our family vacation. From the moment we arrived, our hosts made us feel like we were cooking in a friend's home. Warm, funny, generous, and genuinely passionate about sharing their food and culture — their hospitality was something else entirely. The whole experience had this beautiful intimacy to it: cooking together, laughing together, and then sitting down to enjoy every single thing we made. And the food? Incredible from start to finish. The snacks to kick things off set the tone perfectly, the pasta we made ourselves tasted better than anything we could have ordered at a restaurant, and the dessert was a lovely, sweet send-off to the evening.
